AACC Guest: Vic Cook

Victor Cook is an American television director, writer, and producer. Cook is perhaps best known for producing and developing for television the animated television series The Spectacular Spider-Man along with Greg Weisman.

Victor Cook was director and supervising producer of Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens, a CGI made-for-TV movie that was scheduled for a late 2012 broadcast.

Cook was also a director on Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, it aired on Cartoon Network. Cook’s past animated projects include: Atlantis: Milo’s Return, The Legend of Tarzan, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Darkwing Duck, and Hellboy: Blood and Iron.

With The Spectacular Spider-Man cancelled. Cook moved onto Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated and Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters and Weisman on Young Justice for Cartoon Network and eventually the DC Universe streaming service. According to Weisman, the show’s version of the character Artemis was partially based on Victor’s daughter who is also Caucasian.

AACC Guest: Daniel Chong

Daniel Chong (born November 19, 1978) is an American artist best known as the creator of the Cartoon Network show We Bare Bears.

AACC Guest: Dan Santat

Dan Santat is the author/illustrator of Sidekicks and the winner of the Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators for Oh No! (Or How My Science Project Destroyed the World) by Mac Barnett. He is also the creator of the Disney animated hit, The Replacements. Dan lives in Southern California with his wife, two kids, and various pets.

Hung Kuen Kung Fu Workshop with Sifu Patrick “Bai Long” Pace

“Bai Long” began his martial arts training at age 6 in the United Kingdom. By 16, he was one of the youngest black belts in Full Contact Karate/Kick Boxing and one of the youngest champions in the UK.
In his 40 years of training in martial arts, Patrick holds black belts in the following systems:

➢ Full Contact Karate/Kick Boxing
➢ Japanese Karate (Wado Ryu)
➢ American Kenpo Karate (UK Representative for United Kenpo Systems)
➢ Kage Ryu Kenpo (Shihan)
➢ Hoshin Roshi Ryu Jutaijutsu (Shihan, 6th Dan Black belt)
➢ Muay Thai (Kru)
➢ Natural Spirit International (Full Instructor, Level One)
He is also a fully Certified Sifu (master) in the following systems:
➢ Fu Jow Pai (Tiger Claw Kung Fu)
➢ Wing Chun
➢ Sil Lum Weng Chun (Chu Family)
➢ Hung Kuen (US Representative for Lau Family)

Patrick is also a member of the Lau Family Stunt Team in Hong Kong.

Pamana Kali Workshop with Guro Alvin Catacutan

Guro Alvin Catacutan currently holds Black Belt Rank in Kali and Silat at the Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts. He is an instructor certified to teach Kali, Jun Fan Gung Fu & Jeet Kune Do under Maha Guro Dan Inosanto.

Guro Alvin is on a mission to share the Filipino Martial Arts as a catalyst for those seeking personal transformation. The wisdom of Ancestral Warrior Arts is accessed through what he calls the Kali Matrix. It is a method of self discovery through movement and form. He seeks to teach others to find their place in the tribe and honor the Kulture that created this art.

Hap Ki Do Workshop with Master Joaquín Anzú

Master Joaquín Anzú Álvarez, was born in Uruapan, Michoacán, México in 1972. He came to the United States in September of 1988 where within few months he enrolled in the art of Lima Lama and after kickboxing in the city of El Monte.

He started training Taekwondo in México at an early age. By God’s grace ha has been training for about 35 years in different Martial Arts such as Taekwondo, Hapkido, Kickboxing, Filipino Martial Arts, Krav Maga and Lima Lama.

At the moment Master Anzu holds a 6 degree black belt in Taekwondo, 6 degree in Hapkido, 2nd degree in Krav maga and 1st degree in Tang so do as well as certifications in different martial arts weapons.
